Reflecting on this time last year, and last minute Nutcracker costumes

This time last year I was finishing 16 romantic tutus for Sandia Prep's Nutcracker Snow Scene. We made four different sizes of Tutus and Bodices. The bodices were six panels with boning and hook and eye closure. The tutu's have two layers of tulle, one layer of sparkle tulle, and one layer of net.

Also, we made a nutcracker jacket and hat, and repaired existing tutu's for the school's Sugarplum and Snow queen and others.

All this work began one year earlier, as Sandia Prep presents this Holiday Classic once every two years. Some extras are available for this year's last minute costumes!
